Based on the premise that pain is part of the human experience, ACT helps you to create a meaningful life while accepting the pain that inevitably goes with it. This helps you accept the things that are out of your control and commit to a life that aligns with your values.
Emotionally Focused Therapy
Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) posits that emotions are deeply intertwined with our sense of self. Our feelings not only steer us toward our preferences but also influence our daily decision-making. EFT is grounded in the view that a lack of emotional awareness can be detrimental. Ignoring or bypassing your emotions may result in adverse effects in various aspects of your life.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

Adlerian Therapy
Adlerian therapy is a brief, psychoeducational approach that is both humanistic and goal oriented. It emphasizes the individual’s strivings for success, connectedness with others, and contributions to society as being hallmarks of mental health.

Over time, this will help you think and feel better and unstuck you from vicious cycles and difunctional patterns in your life.
Parenting Coaching
Recognizing parenting is a gift that can be challenging at times, we focus on coaching parents and providing them with effective strategies to achieve their own parenting goals coring to their child’s needs.
Compassion Focused Therapy

Asylum Seekers Psychological Assessment, Reports and Therapy
Psychological assessments and reports will detail any PTSD related to mental or physical abuse and torture; provide a diagnosis and future treatment needs and prognosis; and detail the impact of deportation on the asylum seeker. Any time spent in a detention centre is also considered, and short and long term effects of detention, such as any impact on mental health, are detailed in any report.
If there are symptoms to substantiate mistreatment or torture to support an application for asylum, then the expert will state this in the report.
The report will document any details of why the applicant has a well-founded fear of persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or due to their membership of a particular social group. Validated details of this nature can be put forward as acceptable reasons for a waiver to exclusion, deportation and removal.
Clinical Volunteer Hours
Volunteering offers psychology students the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience rooted in best practices. Through volunteer work, students can acquire practical clinical techniques for handling difficult cases, sharpen their clinical judgment, and develop skills in composing psychological reports.
